Today the National Foundation on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition was launched by the Secretary of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius at a ceremony in the Russell Senate Building.

The Waco-McLennan County Library and the Central Texas Genealogical Society are sponsoring a beginner’s genealogy class from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the meeting room at the West Waco Library & Genealogy Center, 5301 Bosque Blvd.
