@ThePeoplesChemist Please read my Vitamin D article where I cite studies on the the Vitamin D deficiencies in the US and the fact that there is little or no UVB radiation in the winter north of Atlanta. So be aware that sun exposure in the winter will not deliver any Vitamin D rendering many deficient.
