Part 4 of “Heart Break: The Impact of Vacation Time on Coronary Health and Workplace Stress” — Sarah Speck, MD, speaking at the Vacation Matters Summit, 2009 Cardio-vascular disease remains the greatest threat to American Health. Vacations allow for respite from the workplace stress and time pressure that are increasing Americans’ cardio-vascular problems. Sarah Speck, MD is a physician, a clinical assistant professor of medicine at the University of Washington, and the Director of the Center for Cardio-Vascular Wellness at Swedish Hospital in Seattle, Washington.
