by on Nov.03, 2010, under Preventative Medicine

If you are looking to learn how to treat hemorrhoids, there are some things you can do ahead of time, sort of preventative medicine kinds of things you can do so you don’t get hemorrhoids. If you do have hemorrhoids you can follow some of these tips so that you can minimize future recurrences. Having an episode can be painful, uncomfortable, and very inconvenient. It is not a disease but something more. It can wreck havoc in to your life. Hemorrhoids affects over 80% of the world population.
If you’re affected with hemorrhoids, then you know how troublesome and stressful it can be. One of the best advice that I’ve heard is that prevention is the best cure. To take a look at some things that you can do and change your life so that you don’t have to deal with hemorrhoids anymore.
First, let’s look at physical exercise. Physical exercise is one of the whole most overlooked areas of body fitness, and physical exercise is something they can help prevent hemorrhoids. Regular 15 minutes of exercise is all that is required to keep the body fit and all the ailments away. Not only is exercise good your body, it’s a great mind and stress reliever. Not only will you improve your physical condition, but you will also minimize your chances of getting hemorrhoids again.
Go for morning walk. Get up early and see the sun rise and rise with it. Then go to the nearest park and enjoy a good morning walk. Nothing revitalizes the body and the mind more that the walk in the morning. This would do you a world of good and your body will thank you for this. The morning walk goes along the lines of physical exercise but it also has a lot to do with starting the day off right. Start your day off right and things will fall into place.
Get a good nights sleep. Sleep is the time when the body heals it self. But when we do not give the body enough sleep, it is not able to heal itself properly. This is where small things turn into big problems. So try to get 6-8 hours a day. If you have a small recurrence of hemorrhoids this sleep will give your body a chance to repair and heal itself quicker.
Exercise good toilet manners. Having good toilet manners is another important preventive measure. You should try and reduce your time on the pot. Sitting on the toilet for long periods of time increases the pressure on your bowel area. Additionally, be mindful of how rough you are with toilet paper and how heavy you use it to wipe. The more gentle you are the better you will make out.
This last tip is possibly the most important tip in minimizing your episodes. If you want to learn how to treat hemorrhoids with preventative medicine, you must look at your diet. Because of the time demands in people’s lives one of the first things to get neglected is diet. Because we more fast food than ever, and they’re very refined we have less fiber in our diet. The other thing we don’t do enough of this drink water. If you don’t have enough hydration and you don’t have enough fiber in your diet that can lead to constipation and that extra constipation again put stress on your bowel area. This is one of the major causes of episodes of hemorrhoids.
By taking a few of these simple preventative measures, you can learn how to treat hemorrhoids before they happen. Really, a lot of this has to do with your lifestyle and if you can adjust your lifestyle to include healthier habits like eating better, getting enough rest, and exercising and you should see improvements in your condition.
