Natural skin care is usually believed to be a thing that solely ladies are fascinated in.  The fact is that adequate skin care is something that anyone can benefit from.  If you look good you feel good.  Looking good would make you look  healthy and increases your sense of self.  Once you look good you are more confident and feel like you get a much better grasp over your life.  Proper skin care is the essential factor in keeping yourself looking good.  The trouble is that many people have no clue as how to carry out taking care of their skin the right way.  Let’s look at some suggestions you may use to keep your skin looking great and feeling healthy.

First you need to start by cleaning your pores and skin the right way.  You need to always wash your skin with warm water using a mild soap which is hypo-allergenic, and non-comedogenic.  This is vital, if you are using the wrong kind of soap then you are setting yourself up to fail right from the start.  It’s also a great idea to use a soap that consists of moisturizer cream as this will help to keep your skin soft and supple.  When you tend to hold lots of dirt and oil within your pores then you will also want a facial cleaner that consists of micro-scrubbers.  Look for a facial cleanser that has the words “micro-dermabrasion” or  “scrubbing beads” on the label.  This cleanser will feel slightly gritty between your fingers.  If you have a history of facial acne, also include in your arsenal a cleaner to use every other day that consists of Salicylic Acid 1.5% and Blue Algae extract.  These items will help  fight off break outs and continue to keep your skin clear without the use of harsh chemicals like benzoil peroxide.  As soon as you’ve cleansed your skin, ensure that you rinse it thoroughly with cool to slightly cold water, this can help to tighten pores as well as the additional rush of blood to the skin surface caused by the cold will help to flush out toxins that can lead to blemishes, puffiness and breakouts.

When it’s time to dry your pores and skin use a gentle patting motion and veryte light stroking movements with a soft all natural fiber cloth.  Immediately moisturize using a natural non-greasy moisturizer.  On your face, use only a moisturizer that specifically states “for facial use” and make sure that you never get it near the lips, or eyes, if possible avoid applying on the skin of the nose too.

When you’re finished with your skin care routine make sure that you apply a sun care product before going out, even when the sun is not strong and even in winter.  Don’t leave your front door with out it on. You’ll be able to generally get by with an SPF of 15 most of the time, in fall and winter you might even be able to go as low as spf 5.  Check with a dermatologist within your location for his recommendations for your specific skin type and tone in each season.  Be sure that you apply the protection to your face, neck (front and back), ears, hands, wrists and forearms.  The idea is to apply to any area that’s exposed to the sun.  When you do a lot of driving ensure that you apply an added layer of protection (or user a stronger product on your fingers and on your left arm.

Following these simple guidelines will help you to have good skin for the entirety of your life.
