A new varifocal contact lens has hit the market which offers a smooth transition from short and long distances. The lens is very comfortable to wear, and will enable more people to wear varifocal contact lenses. The lenses are available from Patrick and Menzies, an Essex based OpticiansPatrick and Menzies are pioneers in eyecare technology, and often get the opportunity to launch new lenses for manufacturers before general product release. The manufacturers of this new lens, Coopervision, gave staff at Patrick and Menzies a training day to ensure their customers would receive the best care. This new lens will help people to enjoy their everyday lives, such as playing golf.
