    @orasis
exactly, I shop mostly in chinese stores and they sell for twice less than even low cost supermarkets. Just don’t shop in Whole foods which is a huge scam

Grats man! So did I and after years and years of feeling tired and getting constant headaches (not to mention being fat) –I feel like I’m 18 again, seriously.

And now that I have the energy to exercise I do + my knees don’t hurt, yeah my bones were hurting and Im in my twenties!

Do good for yourself … remove sugar from your diet, eat an apple instead. :P

It is cheaper! Chips and Coke are expensive… brand name junk food is NOT cheap.

And you’re always hungry, so you eat more = more cost.

I eat for like 5 bucks a day and I eat good stuff.

The Think Thin bars help me with my sugar cravings.

Personally, I think those holidays would suck without those trademark sugar foods. Whats wrong with eating these things in moderation? IMHO, when it comes going complety cold turkey on unhealthy food (giving them up COMPLETLY and FOREVER) I doubt the benefits would really outweigh the sacrifice.

I love Pepsi so much–it’s so hard to give it up =( I’m trying though haha

Thanks Natalie. I’m trying to get my friend off of sugar. She is addicted to it like I used to be. It’s very hard because she is so used to eating it in frozen yogurt, frosted flakes, and bottled juices mainly. She doesn’t eat a lot of candy, but she is still getting sugar from the other items. She’s only 22, and I didn’t stop until I was 40. I actually went back on it for a while, but I cut consumption by 90%. The bad news is I lost 7 lbs and I was already thin. Thanks again.

@SussenRose I agree. Just because you’re not eating something doesn’t mean you won’t crave it.

  • KyanisSunweaver

And as it turns out, dark chocolate is actually good for you (which has sugar in it), as long as you stick to the recommended serving. Which is what’s really the problem — people don’t do that.

  • KyanisSunweaver

Well there goes my birthday and wedding cakes… One only happens once a year and the other usually only happens once in my life. Having a piece of cake, or a cookie, or something, every once in a while does not make you an addict. Give me a break.

  • SussenRose

@SaltyTrip I completely agree – it is ridiculous to say that if you don’t eat sugar you won’t crave it because “your body gets used to not having it.” I think people can make a conscious effort to be less reliant on it, and over time they may find it easier not to want sugar, but it’s not because their BODY controls it. It’s quite the opposite, it’s all about your mindset.

  • deejaykgb

anyone thinking about kicking the sugar addiction… you have to understand that you have to change your whole outlook on eating period… your eating habits have to change from eating for pleasure, to eating strategically.

  • SaltyTrip

You’re stupid. You’re telling people that your body has a mind and that it controls you. I eat all kinds of food and i’m healthy. Tell people to go out or eat home cooked meals and it’s 100x better.

I had virtually NO soda, no diet soda and no candy or anything else with white sugar for about two months! I was big on those for a while, and first 10 or 15 days were just horrible, but now… well, I guess this is how cleaned up ex-drug addicts feel like. I feel like I wouldn’t have a single sip of soda!

  • FlypaperGirl

@SarahHall87 I am not Natalie, but can tell it is not bad, I can have several kilos of fruits a day
