Gene Variant May Raise Death Risk After Heart Bypass

FRIDAY, Sept. 16 (HealthDay News) — People who carry a certain
genetic variant involved in blood clotting and inflammation have a lower
five-year survival rate after coronary artery bypass surgery, researchers
report.
