Everyday in this world, there are millions and millions of people young and old who are dealing with back pain The main type of back pain people faces daily is lower back pain. So, what’s the cause of this annoying pain? Is it because all of these people have poor posture? Or, is because these people are lifting too much weight, and are straining their backs? The answer to all of these questions is, simply yes. There are many reasons why people who have never had a serious health problem, are now suffering from back pain.

The number one reason why people suffer from back pain is they sit down too much. People’s bodies are designed to be upright and feels better when you are standing, walking, lying down, or even running. The reason why you experience relief when you stand up is because of this. The bottom line, your body hates bending or when it’s in a position where it’s bending for a long time.

Almost everyone in this world will spend too much time sitting at some point in their lives. Most people in this world cannot avoid this because they have jobs that require them to sit for long periods of time and in some cases people will work and sit in a chair for 40 to 60 hours a week. Then the same people will spend more of their days in their cars commuting back and forth to work, or to other places. When they do arrive home, what’s the first thing people do, they say they are worn out and need to sit down and get a bite to eat. As if that was not enough, they will then make their way to the TV and flop down in front of it, once again sitting down. The people need to wake up and realize, if they want to see any kind of relief in this pain they need to limit the time they spend sitting everyday. Yes of course, this is hard if your job requires you to sit all day in front of a desk, but there are ways you can control the way you sit all day, start by getting up and stretching your back every hour or so. This will help you to loosen up your back muscles, and you’ll start to feel better.

The next step to be taken when trying to eliminate back pain has to do with the shoes you wear. Just about all the regular shoes on the market today will not give your arches enough support. This simple problem is not so simple. This will leave you back sore and in pain. This is why it is important for everyone to have shoes that support their arches. To correct this problem, get yourself a nice fitted pair of trainers.

The last step is simple and basic common sense. Exercise and weight control will help to eliminate your back problems With a healthy diet and plenty of exercise, along with active stretching you can eliminate most your back problems It is important for you to stretch daily and walk daily. Yoga is a great way to stay flexible and will help in reducing back pain Aerobics is another great way to reduce back pain Start with walking a few days a week for at least 15 minutes. Once your body is use to exercising, try jogging or speed walking. To keep you focused, try exercising with a friend. This way you each can motivate one another, and you won’t be opted to quit exercising.

By following these tips you can be on your way to a back pain free life in no time. Please keep in mind, these are just tips, and if you continue to have increased back pain after following these tips for more than a few weeks, you should seek the advice of a licensed doctor.
