Support Single Payer Health Care! America has many socialized services… a socialized police department, a socialized fire department, a socialized public school system, a socialized library system… Single Payer Health Care places the well being of the patient before the profits of the health insurance company. It encourages preventative medicine, will save us all money, it will ensure medical care for everyone and improve the quality of our lives. Floridians for Health Care urges everyone to call their representatives in Washington DC in Congress and in the Senate and let them know how important this issue is to you and to every single American.
WORKOUT, WALKABOUT ~ Crop Circles in Brentwood?
by on Jan.19, 2012, under Preventative Medicine
This is the Final Chapter in one days WORKOUT, WALKABOUT in August 2011. Clearly I began walking as a way to trim down my weight, lower my blood pressure, decrease the baaaaad cholesterol and generally improve my health and fitness as a result of an injury to my back, as well as a dislocated shoulder and torn rotator cuff. What became an added value for me was the opportunity to begin using my camera’s more creatively. For some reason I can’t just do one thing and be satisfied with it, OH NO! MY dumbazz has to find new ways to do one hundred things at the same time and at fifty eight years of age, I may as well embrace my “HD/ADD” ;-D I find the entire process rehabilitating for my body and mind and this is my purpose in sharing the concept of WORKOUT, WALKABOUT. Most have heard a little exercise a day is preventative medicine and in my case it has become a lot more than that. Additionally I work out on my 100 year old total gym to help strengthen the muscles around the shoulder and torn tendon in my shoulder, per doctor’s order. Maybe this will help others get motivated to put in a half hour or more a day performing the WORKOUT, WALKABOUT? You tell me!
