Yes salt is necessary for your diet.

But it’s good as long as you take salt in moderation, so not to much and not to little.

@Smappa2 – that is so fantastic to hear. I am really pleased you are being patient and working at it. You will get results if you stick at it and of course eat right. Baz

Thank you for this and all of the videos you’ve uploaded. They are really encouraging me to get to the gym every week and to stick with good foods. I’ve been doing this for about two months and I can really see the results. I’m making process slowly but steadily. Thanks!

@adrianlm – I would probably not have starwberry jam. I do not think with all the sugar that it is very good for you. Raisins is a very high in calories and would be far better for you to have even during your training. I will send you some more things that might help you. Baz

Hi Baz, do you have some opinion about eating strawberry jam before and / or after training? (I need to gain a lot of weight). And other question: everytime that I feel i’m getting hungry my body is loosing muscle? thanks!

@76220960 – yes whey protein is good. One of the best of course is cottage cheese. Tofu, nuts, beans there are lots of good protein foods for people who do not eat meat. Baz

Hey Baz i was just wondering, not being able to eat meat at home, what is a good substitute for meat protein? Is Whey protein good enough? cheers. Btw ur videos are awesome, thanks for teaching me a lot mate, god bless :D

@MaskeRevinked – You can lose a bit if you do not train. I did not train for nearly 2 months but ate a lot and actually put on quite a bit of weight. A lot of fat. The muscles will go down slightly after 3 weeks but they will come back with just a bit of training. Make sure you eat right. Baz

Hey Baz. Got a question for you. I was busy for like about 3 weeks and did not train during that. Now, I feel my arms look smaller. Is it me or am I imagining things? Do your muscles shrink when you are lifting weights and suddenly stop for some time? Help Baz..really paranoid. Thanks loads :)

@jawbreaker480 – pleasure my friend. Baz

@GoHiper – that is a lot of weight to gain per week. I would be very cautious. You could easily end up with stretch marks. It is not good to lose or gain too quick. Baz

  • GoHiper

i have 6 BIG meals a day lol cuz i need 4.000 kcal to gain pound per week.

  • BazBlog

@sushilsorout – thanks very much for the wonderful compliment. I hope it will help you with your training. Baz

Seriously, even my gym trainer didn’t tell me that much about food. All he told me was about some brand’s supplement (maybe he is the dealer of it. I didn’t buy it :) ) Thanks for putting that much time and effort in such nice videos. You are great !!

Love your videos, keep them coming.

@Defender2516 – Yes that is a fantastic way to get your salt. Thanks so much for sharing that with us. Great idea. Baz

  • BazBlog

@B4sheezy – pleasure my friend. You will make a huge difference if you eat right. It is not all about the training. Good luck. Baz

Nice video Baz, I like to get my salt intake from davids sunflower seeds. The seeds themselves are healthy, but I get them because of the salty flavor, so its a win/win situation for me. If you like sun flower seeds, thats another way people can get their salt intake.

  • B4sheezy

Thanks for the new meal tips…I shall be trying them as mine was getting kinda boring. Good Job!

  • BazBlog

@georgecarra – wow that is a fantastic compliement. Thanks very much for that. I really hope that it will help you. Baz

@mydopamean – You can have full milk if you carry no fat but if you are like me you will want less then zero if they could make that.lol Yes it is like all things. The more you do it the easier it becomes. Baz

  • mydopamean

Oh god im drinking 2% with my protein powder everyday and i know im going to have to switch to skim…im just dreading it so bad! I used to drink whole milk and dreaded ever doing 2% but after a while i got used to it so im sure itll be the same, its just hard to talk myself into starting haha

@DrSanya007 5 lbs in 2 weeks is fine 10 weeks is 25 lbs and you would be able to see that if you loose more than that you cood loose muschle and you dont want to do that just keep traning and you vill do great

  • BazBlog

@DrSanya007 – pleasure my friend. Yes it can be because of that but also when you carry a lot of excess weight that can and usually does cause it. There is not alot you can do for it. I would try to rub on some vitamin E oil and take Vitamin E capsules. I understand it cannot fix them but does help a bit. That is what my one son used. A good tan also helps to hide it. Baz
