@MATEOTL86 Its not expensive ………allstarhealth web site……..quality too!

  • MATEOTL86

    BIOPLEX WPI is EXTREMELY expensive!

I recommend Optimum Nutrition’s “ALL NATURAL” Gold Standard Whey.

No artificial sweetners. Sweetened with “Stevia” (a plant).

Chocolate taste the great but Strawberry tastes extremely bitter:

hi i got question about protein shake im using ellite isolate and no xplode preworkout i feel bloated do i need to continue it ? or if i continue it my i will get belly fats ?

  • kingofdeadlift

Maxy waize has actually been shown not as effective as maltodextrin and dextrose in multiple studies. If you need some solid references them I’ll be more than happy to share it with you.

From what i’ve seen, it works differently with different people. All in all, good video. Very similar to what i’ve been doing for the past couple years.

hey rico how do you take your pre work out stack ?do you use waxymazie to transport the creatine and bcaas?

  • SpideryFan6

hey man, just wondering; should i eat a meal before workout? i only ask because my job has weird hours. i go in at 3AM and get out 6 hours later and since my home is half-an hour away and the gym is 5 min away, i want to hit the gym after work, then go home. but i wondered if it was even healthy to do it that way. i dont eat during work, even on breaktime. thanks.

Don’t want to sound like a hater, but you should read the only real study done with WMS on humans to date. Conducted by the US Army together with Univ of Chicago. The study conclusively proved the WMS is a great pre-, and intra-workout carb, but that maltodextrin was a significantly better PWO carb. Despite the rumors, WMS was shown to have too slow of an effect on blood sugar and insulin…taking nearly 2 hours to peak….which is what makes it a great pre-, and intra-workout carb.

i thought protein had to be within that 30 minute window post workout otherwise your not getting the benefits?

  • totalhealth4life

@Scorpius662 very busy these days bro…..its all in the book. You wont get to where you can be by just bits of info…….invest in your health….i eat every 3 hours and do just protein and water last meal before bed..otherwise yes carbs

  • Scorpius662

Okay Rico…Final questions. Do you do a complex carb with EVERY shake or just the post workout shake? And how much time do you seperate your shakes by for optimal protien absorbtion….thanks.

  • Scorpius662

@totalhealth4life Hey Rico….I left a couple of recent questions on your 3rd post workout video…Get at them when you get a chance…thanks bro.

  • Scorpius662

Sorry Rico, just read the end of the video, you awnsered the bcaas question. As far as the Protien shake goes. I have to have a sweet potatoe with it. Cooked of course. Do you throw yours into the shake and mix it. or do you have it before or after your shake. Thanks again.

  • Scorpius662

Yo Rico, can I add BCAAs…say’s it increased protien synthesis. Or would it make any diffrence? ALSO….I’m only interested in strength training, I don’t want to get big. Will this system work just as well for that? Finally for strength training. How much protien should I get per day? Thanks bro.

  • dbanga5

    To totalhealth4life,
Im a vegetarian… please tell me if all of those products are suitable for vegetarian… because i couldn’t find out on their site.

    Thank You

  • totalhealth4life

@N41MUN94 Yes………that way you can have a shake with water before bed without ANY carbs that would be stored as fat……….be sure and get the NATURAL with no sugar or toxic sugar whatsever

  • N41MUN94

so rico do you recommend weight gainer powders for gaining lean muscle mass? or should i buy a WPI powder and add my own carbs to the shake? thanks

  • VillalobosC9

i can barely afford the $15 whey protein from wal-mart lol. nice video though

  • totalhealth4life

i would do it but not too much…….maybe vitargo or karbolyn

  • jdura00

Hey Rico, Is it bad to have complex carbs in a post workout shake shortly before bed, even if I have just got done lifting? I mostly train late at night.
